Osmo requires a download to transcribe audio directly on your device, guaranteeing the privacy and security of your audio.
- Visit the official Osmo website.
- Click the "Download" button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the installation.
How to Create My First File?
Start by creating a "New File" and speaking into your microphone. Osmo instantly transcribes your speech. Import voice memos, Zoom recordings, MP3s, or paste a YouTube link for easy summarization.
- Open Osmo.
- Select "New File" or choose "Import" for existing files.
- Alternatively, paste a YouTube link for direct summarization.
How to Connect Osmo to Zoom, Meets, or Teams?
Connect Osmo seamlessly with popular conferencing apps. By selecting "Osmo Speaker" in your audio settings. Audio will stream to your speech recognition engine to be transcribed. Osmo does not record or store audio.
- Open Osmo and select "New File."
- View the "How to Setup Audio Devices" tutorial.
- In your conferencing app, pick "Osmo Speaker" as your audio output.
How to Connect My Headphones to Osmo?
Integrate headphones with Osmo by first installing Osmo's audio driver. This ensures audio is directed to your chosen output, such as headphones.
- Download Osmo's Audio Driver and set "Osmo Speaker" as your audio output in your chosen platform.
- Connect your headphones.
- Within Osmo, click "New File" and navigate to "Audio" settings.
- Choose your headphones from the list of available output devices.

How to Summarize my Conversation?
Osmo offers versatile summarization styles. Select summary styles like key topics, Q&A format, or action items.
- After your discussion in Osmo, hit the "Summarize" option.
- From the dropdown, select your preferred summarization style.
- Click "Summarize."
How to Share my Summaries?
Copy text from the right-side window pane to transfer to Gmail, Docs, Notion, etc. Use the "Copy Summary" button at the top right for formatted sharing.
- In Osmo, locate the summary you want to share.
- Click "Copy Summary"
How to Rename and Delete Files?
- In Osmo, identify the file you want to edit.
- Click the "..." icon adjacent to your file.
- To rename, click "Rename," input the new name, and confirm. To delete, select "Delete" and approve the deletion.
